The John Hohmann Sailing Award
      Johnny owned a local chandlery store and supported sailing by 
      presenting this trophy. It is awarded to the boat from Port
      Angeles which performs best in its division in the Swiftsure Classic.

The Angeles Point Race Trophy
      A yearly tradition was the Angeles Point Race, from the yacht club
     to the "6 mile" buoy to Angeles Point and back to the yacht club. 

The Hal Puddy Memorial Race Trophy
      A yearly race, named for a former City Manager active in sailing 

The Jack and Jill Race Trophy
      One male, one female, around the harbor.

The Ron Carr Summer Series Trophy
      Named for a school district administrator, active in sailing.

The Golden Gobbler Trophy
      What a way to deal with a long winter. February race to Victoria.

The Operation Uplift Benefit Trophy
      The July 4th around the harbor benefit race

The Port Angeles Yacht Club Trophy
         Given by PAYC for use by Swiftsure
